Copper prices hit their highest level in over a month on Monday. Benchmark copper on the London Metal Exchange (LME) was up 0.3% to $8,689 per metric ton at 0948 GMT, up from $8,739.5 earlier, the highest since June 22. It is spurred by hopes for further stimulus measures from China, but poor manufacturing data from the main consumer
.For other precious metals, tin was little changed at $28,750, nickel fell 1.4% to $22,000, lead slipped 0.1% to $2,157. In contrast, zinc rose 1.8% to $2,542, and aluminum rose 0.9% to $2,242 per metric ton
