Ewoyaa is scheduled to become Ghana's first lithium mine with revenues of more than 6 billion dollars expected over 12 years. For commissioning, its owner Atlantic Lithium is evaluating other options to increase project revenues

Atlantic Lithium has signed a memorandum of understanding with Tarkwa University of Mines and Technology for the purpose of a feasibility study on the production of feldspar from the future Ewoyaa lithium mine. The Ghanaian center of excellence in partnership with Atlantic Lithium is dedicated to training mining and petroleum professionals in particular. He will be responsible for determining the state of the market for fresh feldspar and kaolin in the country and in the sub-region. Also, he will assess the technical feasibility of treating feldspar in Ghana, analyze the risks and identify mitigation measures, as well as a financial model on the expected costs and revenues for the
