A partnership agreement was signed between Bank Of Africa (BOA) -Togo and SUNU Bank on Wednesday June 19 in Lomé. The signature was made with the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development

The agreement signed between SUNU Bank, BOA Togo and the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Rural Development is a partnership framework that aims to finance all projects within the links of agricultural value chains, in particular the supply of inputs, service provision, and rural development, which aims to finance all projects that fall within the links of agricultural value chains, in particular the supply of inputs, services, mechanization, l the installation of irrigation systems, production, processing and marketing at a preferential rate of interest and for a duration adapted to the activities of this sector

This collaboration will allow SUNU Bank to take care of the commercial guarantee of the machines. And BOA-Togo is setting up, for the benefit of producers, a leasing line for a lot of agricultural equipment composed for the pilot phase of 50 tractors and accessories over a 5-year repayment period

The partnership aims to facilitate farmers' access to loans on favorable terms for the acquisition of modern agricultural machinery, improve agricultural yields through better efficiency and optimized farm management.
