The Ivory Palm Program (Ppi) was officially launched on Thursday June 20, 2024 in Yamoussoukro. It is initiated by the Competitive Value Chains for Employment and Economic Transformation Project (Pccet) in partnership with Nepar Ventures

The objective of the Ivory Palm Program is to support the competitiveness of Ivorian farmers and Ivorian businesses in supported value chains. This program is part of component 1.2 of the PCCET and has already trained 1500 young people. These young people, who have been trained by experts for 18 months in both Côte d'Ivoire and Malaysia, will be made available to actors in the oil palm sector in order to contribute to its development and competitiveness. The PPI plans to supervise 30,000 oil palm producers through training on good practices, agricultural services and the generation of additional income
