The Minister of Digital Transition and Digitalization, Ibrahim Kalil Konaté inaugurated on June 19, 2024, in Abidjan, the regional innovation center “Yiri” of Africa Global Logistics (AGL) in Abidjan.

AGL intends to stimulate entrepreneurship in Africa, especially in Côte d'Ivoire. The “Yiri” innovation center aims to become the very first and the showcase of Africa in terms of innovation and entrepreneurship. It is built on an area of 247 m2 and also aims to stimulate creativity among AGL employees, customers, universities, and to support the development of start-ups in Africa. It is intended to foster innovation, encourage entrepreneurship, promote the adoption of emerging technologies, stimulate job creation and the development of local skills.
