During the meeting in Tunis on 4 July 2024 between Mr. Fethi Zouhair Nouri, Governor of the BCT and a high-level delegation from the BAD, the AfDB, the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) and the African Development Bank (ADB) &rsquoo ; leading to a strengthened partnership

La Banque Centrale de Tunisie (BCT) announced that the “meeting was marked by fruitful discussions on various channels of cooperation, including capacity building and the presentation of the draft African Financial Stability Mechanism (AFSM)”. Mr. Nouri and Mr. Urama reiterated the commitment of their institutions to work together to promote financial stability and inclusive growth. They expressed optimism about the prospects for future collaboration between the BCT and the ADB, aimed at strengthening Tunisia's economic resilience and promoting sustainable growth. Nouri said that “the BCT works with several donors on strategic projects for innovative and sustainable solutions, in particular for skills development and green finance, in this regard, the support of the ADB is significant to support this approach
