Last Thursday, in Brazzaville, the ordinary session of the Board of Directors of the Central Procurement of Essential Medicines and Health Products (Cameps) took place. It was an opportunity to adopt its quality assurance manual and technical procedures.

The main purpose of the ordinary session of the Cameps Board of Directors is to validate the activities that the structure carried out in 2023, in particular those related to finances. The quality assurance manual contains all the provisions defined to ensure that medicines are of the quality required for the use for which they are intended. Among other things, quality assurance makes it possible to demonstrate compliance with quality rules throughout the production chain by meeting certification and market requirements, among others.
