From Wednesday 31 July ^to Thursday 1 August 2024, the tenth session of the Main Joint Committee on Ivorian-Senegalese Cooperation was held in Abidjan. On the occasion, Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal consolidated their bilateral relationships by signing 12 cooperation agreements covering various sectors

The agreements signed between Côte d'Ivoire and Senegal aim to strengthen bilateral relationships and promote greater cooperation in several key areas, including the economy, justice, agriculture, and youth. Indeed, Ivorian-Senegalese Cooperation is based on a memorandum of understanding on the follow-up of the recommendations of the Main Joint Cooperation Committee, including specific agreements on the Family, Women and Children, economic and judicial cooperation in civil and commercial matters, as well as an agreement on mutual legal assistance in criminal matters and extradition
