The total value of the transactions was 50.225 billion FCFA compared to 427.668 million FCFA on Monday, October 3, 2022, and the latest records date from Wednesday, August 24, 2022, with 26,247. billions and on September 23, 2022 with 25.707 billion. On October 4, 2022, at the origin of the large transactions, there was the purchase of 2 million TPCI 5.65% 2022-2032 bonds worth 20.010 billion FCFA and of 2 million TPCI 5.75% 2022-2037 bonds worth 19.898 billion FCFA, for a total of 39.908 billion FCFA. In addition, there is the purchase of 505,005 BIDC-EBID bonds 5.90% 2022-2029 for a total value of 5.026 billion FCFA and the purchase of 500,000 TPCI 5.90% 2022-2037 bonds for a total value of 5.02 billion FCFA.
The bond market's market capitalization fell from 2.928 billion to 8472.401 billion FCFA compared to 8475.329 billion FCFA on October 3, 2022, and that of the equity market has seen also a drop of 10.163 billion FCFA from 6113.937 billion FCFA the day before to 6103.774 billion FCFA on October 4, 2022. The index trading session was closed in red. The BRVM 10 index (index of the 10 leading stocks) fell by 0.07% to 162.24 points against 162.35 points on Sunday, October 2, 2022, while the BRVM Composite index (general stock exchange index) thus fell 0.17% to 202.77 points against 203.11 points the next day.
The Flop 5 of the biggest price declines is occupied by the SAPH Côte d'Ivoire shares (minus 7.50% to 5 365 FCFA), Bernabé Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.35% to 2 080 FCFA), respectively, Total Senegal (minus 7.22% to 2,120 FCFA), Tractafric Motors Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.14% to 3,250 FCFA) and Sucrivoire Côte d'Ivoire (minus 5.91% to 1,035 FCFA). And the Top 5 are respectively occupied by SMB Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.47% to 6,405 FCFA), Crown Siem Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.71% to 740 FCFA), BOA Burkina Faso (plus 3.92% to 5,300 FCFA), Ecobank Côte d'Ivoire (plus 3.09% to 4,845 FCFA) and Société Ivoirienne de Tabacs Côte d& #39; Ivory (plus 2.61% at 5,900 FCFA).
