At the end of the trading session on Thursday, October 6, 2022, the two indices of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) returned to business after two days & Exact; consecutive drops.

The BRVM 10 index (index of the 10 leading stocks) gained 0.47% to 161.35 points against 160.59 points on Wednesday, October 5, 2022. On the other hand, the BRVM Composite Index (general stock market index) rose by 0.60% to 202.57 points compared to 201.36 points on the same day.

Indeed, the stock market capitalization increased by 36,091 billion FCFA, from 6061,261 billion FCFA the day before to 6097,352 billion FCFA in 6 October 2022 and this improvement in the indices has had an impact on it. On the other hand, the capitalization of the bond market fell by 21.169 billion to 8452.357 billion FCFA against 8473.526 billion FCFA the day before. With regard to transactions, the total value fell to 530.084 million compared with 2,413 billion CFA francs the day before.

The Flop 5 of the biggest price declines, it was occupied by the shares BOA Mali (minus 7.26% to 1 470 FCFA), BOA Senegal (plus 3.40% to 2 415 FCFA), CFAO Côte d'Ivoire ( minus 2.94% to 825 FCFA), BOA Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.16% to 4,305 FCFA) and Palm Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.88% to 9,910 FCFA). And the Top 5 of the largest price increases were respectively occupied by the shares SMB Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.48% to 7,400 FCFA), SITAB Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.44% to 6,285 FCFA), Compagnie Ivoirienne d'Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.00% to 2,100 FCFA), Sucrivoire Côte d& Rsquo; Ivory (plus 4.76% to 1,100 FCFA) and BOA Benin (plus 3.45% to 6,000 FCFA).
