Côte d'Ivoire raised 27.500 billion FCFA on the UEMOA financial market on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at the end of a bond issue Treasury equivalents (BAT) with a duration of 28 days.

Financing Côte d'Ivoire's 2022 Budget is the main purpose for which a payment of 27,500 billion FCFA was made to the UEMOA financial market. Indeed, 25 billion FCFA had been put up for auction by the issuer and then an auction of 25 billion FCFA. After the auction, 60 billion CFA francs of global bids were received from investors, representing a coverage rate of 240.00% of the amount put up for auction. The value of the bids rejected was 32,500 billion FCFA and the amount accepted was 27,500 billion FCFA, representing an absorption rate of 45.83%.
