Une lettre lue au parlement le mardi 28 novembre dernier indique que Bola Tinubu, asked lawmakers to approve the government's external borrowing plan for 2022—24, in order to finance projects in all sectors of the economy.

The President of Nigeria has asked Parliament to approve $8.69 billion and 100 million euros ($109.71 million) for projects related to infrastructure, agriculture, health, education, water supply, growth, security, job creation, as well as financial management reforms.
