Le lundi dernier, TotalEnergies signed the cooperation agreement with the Nigerian national oil company NNPC Ltd. This agreement aims to conduct methane detection and measurement campaigns using its advanced AUSEA technology, based on drones, at oil and gas facilities

in Nigeria.

TotalEnergies said it had reaffirmed its commitment to commercial interests in Nigeria. With a focus on offshore oil projects and all-terrain gas production, the company pledged to “invest $6 billion in the coming years.” Mr. Tinubu's meeting with Mr. Pouyanne follows similar interviews with oil majors Shell and Exxon Mobil, as part of efforts to attract capital to Africa's largest energy producer
