Dans l' intention d' augmenter sa participation on block 2913B, an area of interest located in the territorial waters of Namibia, the TotalEnergies group has reached an agreement with the ; one of its partners.

The Canadian company Africa Oil, owner of interests in Impact Oil and Gas, announced on Thursday, February 8, the discovery of hydrocarbon potential in this exploration area.

Africa Oil has a 31.1% stake in Impact Oil & Gas, which recently sold part of its interests in block 2913B to TotalEnergies.

In addition, work on the Venus-2A well is ongoing in addition to the acquisition of 3D seismic data in the southern part of the block in order to identify potential exploration paths.
