The officials of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) announced that the Ivorian Electricity Company (CIE) will pay its global annual dividend of 9.576 billion FCFA for the fiscal year 2023. Payment will be made on July 30, 2024.

The expected dividend for CIE shareholders corresponds to a net dividend per share of 171 FCFA against 157.5 FCFA in 2022. Investors have until Thursday, July 25, 2024 to acquire more CIE shares. BRVM managers have indicated that the CIE share will be listed ex-dividend as of Friday, July 26, 2024. Therefore, they will cancel all pending stock orders in the trading system on that date

It should be noted that the net income after taxes of the CIE grew by 8.29% as at December 31, 2023, reaching 10.633 billion FCFA against 9.819 billion FCFA in 2022. For its part, turnover increased by 19.363 billion, from 238.854 billion FCFA in 2022 to 257.217 billion FCFA
