The Central African Financial Market Supervisory Commission (Cosumaf) has released 12 draft texts. They concern the modalities of application of certain provisions of its general regulations and the regulations governing the organization and functioning of the financial market in Central Africa.

La recent years, Cosumaf has been involved in a process of reforming the regulatory framework in the regional financial market. Recently, she specified the procedures for applying certain provisions of the regulations governing the organization and functioning of the Central African financial market and the institution's general regulations. Three of the texts in this legal arsenal are dedicated to the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism. The first is the instruction “on the risk factors to be taken into account in the fight against money laundering and terrorism (AML/CFT)”. The second instruction specifies the types of transactions with a high risk of money laundering, application of Article 14 of the Financial Market Regulation. The last one concerns the “procedures for implementing due diligence obligations in the fight against money laundering and terrorism”.
