The public offer for the sale of the shares of the National Lottery of Benin (LNB) successfully closed on Friday, October 25, 2024. This offer was initiated by the Beninese State and orchestrated by EDC Investment Corporation

The public offering to sell LNB shares was launched on Monday, October 7, 2024. The process allowed all participants to benefit from the positive perspectives offered by this fast-growing sector. The sale of State shares, set within a range of 35% to 45%, was completed at the maximum level of 45%, thus reaching the target amount of 43.2 billion CFA francs. This success for Benin testifies to the confidence of investors in the reforms implemented in the country since 2016.

Very soon, LNB shares will be introduced and listed on the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM), guaranteeing increased transparency for investors.
