The Bloomfield agency once again awarded the long-term AA rating with a stable outlook to the Société de Distribution d'Eau de la Côte d'Ivoire (SODECI). It was at the end of an annual rating whose validity goes from August 2024 to July 2025. In the short term, it was awarded an A1- grade with a stable outlook.

The SODECI score reflects “the very high credit quality”. According to the Bloomfield team, the protective factors are very strong. Bloomfield indicates that “harmful changes in business, economic or financial conditions will increase investment risks, although not significantly.” The short-term rating reflects “the very high certainty of timely repayment.” The rating agency indicates that the rating awarded to Sodeci is based on positive factors such as a continuation of organizational changes aimed at adapting to the anticipated framework of new lease contracts; an improvement in drinking water supply thanks in particular to the work carried out as part of the African Cup of Nations; a good increase in water activity, leading to an increase in the main performance indicators.
