The barrel of West Texas Intermediate (WTI), for delivery the same month, fell by 0.54% to 69.72 dollars. After opening the session higher, the barrel of Brent from the North Sea for delivery in January lost 0.47% to 73.88 dollars, around 11:50 GMT (12:50 CET). Also, the market also takes into account “the monthly drop in oil demand from China, a hesitant OPEC+” about a possible continuation of voluntary production cuts and “a wild American dollar”, which is increasing the cost of a barrel, tempers Tamas Varga
