The 2024 edition of Sipen-UEMOA focused on the theme “financing the private sector, a major challenge for digital sovereignty in the WAEMU space”. According to Ekissi Narcisse, chief of staff, representing the Minister of Digital Transition and Digitalization of Côte d'Ivoire, this 2nd edition is in line with the vision of President Alassane Ouattara who has placed digital inclusion at the heart of the transformation of societies to boost economic dynamics and job creation. For him, the development of a solid digital economy is largely based on the vitality of his private sector and in particular on its financing.
