The Institute of Food Technology (ITA) presented certificates last Saturday to around fifty entrepreneurs from the Kaolack region (center) with projects in the field of agri-food. They received training in the field for two months.

The training of the fifty project leaders is part of the Project to support the development of skills and entrepreneurship of young people in promising sectors (PDCEJ), financed by the nbsp; African Development Bank (ADB) and the Government of Senegal. This project operates in the regions of Dakar, Saint-Louis, Ziguinchor, Thiès and Karolack. According to Professor Momar Talla Guèye, Director General of the ITA, the project “aims to promote growth and employment through the improvement of the quality of the workforce, the competitiveness of businesses and the entrepreneurship of young people in promising sectors of industry and agriculture”.
