The aircraft manufacturer delivered 766 aircraft last year, while it targeted “around” 770 aircraft. The 2024 objective is therefore narrowly missed. However, the robust end of the year sends a positive signal for the new year.

In detail, Airbus delivered 602 A320 family aircraft, 75 A220 (ex-Bombardier CSeries), 57 A350 and 32 A330 aircraft last year, 57 A350 and 32 A330 aircraft, said the aeronautical giant in a press release.

Airbus initially set a target of 800 deliveries in 2024, which it had lowered to 770 in June. In 2019, before the health crisis disrupted the aeronautical supply chain, the European aircraft manufacturer delivered 863 aircraft

“Given the complex and rapidly changing environment in which we continue to operate, we consider 2024 to be a good year,” said Christian Scherer, director of commercial aircraft at Airbus, said in the group's press release.
