Un communiqué officiel publié le 26 janvier dernier annonce que l' Autorité générale pour l' Autorité générale pour l' investissement et les zones franches (GAFI ) hosted the Sudanese Businessmen's Forum. The forum was a platform for discussions on ways to deepen cooperation between the Egyptian government, the Embassy of Sudan and the Federation of Sudanese Chambers of Commerce.

The Sudanese Businessmen's Forum was marked by the presence of Hossam Heiba, CEO of GAFI, Imad El-Din Mustafa Adawi, Ambassador of Sudan in Cairo, and Yahya Elwathik Bellah, Minister Plenipotentiary, First Undersecretary-Chief of the Egyptian commercial service at the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. Programs to support young Sudanese businessmen in coordination with Egyptian and Sudanese entities involved in the investment case were presented by the authority's managing director Hossam Heiba.
