La 4e réunion ministérielle du comité de pilotage du Trans-Saharan Gas Pipeline Project ( TSGP) was held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at the Abdelatif-Rahal International Conference Center in Algiers. On the occasion, three crucial documents were initialled .

Le Trans-Saharan gas pipeline is a flagship project aimed at connecting Nigeria's gas reserves to Algeria, by crossing Niger. It will make it possible to export natural gas to Europe and other international markets, thus strengthening the energy security of the countries concerned. This project is estimated to be over 4,000 km long.
