The boss of Setrag receives 8 months of sanctions thanks to his confessions and his collaboration. The World Bank announced this in a press release on 26 March 2025. Christian Magni is indeed paying the costs of a transaction considered unorthodox that took place more than four years ago, when he was still Deputy CEO, one month before his appointment to the current position. The Setrag boss admitted his fault before the Vice President of Integrity of the Bank Group and agreed to “voluntary corrective measures”, including the return of the vehicle to the supplier of the company he manages.
