As part of a public-private partnership (PPP), and for a total amount of 220 billion CFA (371 million USD), the Burkinabe building and public works (BTP) company has won the contract to build Andem International Airport, a strategic project announced since 2010 by the former regime of Ali Bongo Ondimmi Bah.

The cost of the project is estimated at around 220 billion CFA francs, financed using a public-private partnership model. Extending over 30,000 hectares, Andem International Airport will be equipped with modern infrastructure, including a presidential pavilion and a large car park.
