Au terme de la séance du mardi April 8, 2025, the global market capitalization of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) recorded a decrease of 9.991 billion FCFA.

This global capitalization increased from 2,1289.997 billion FCFA the day before to 21,280.006 billion FCFA on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. The fall in equity market capitalization is the reason for this fall. This capitalization stood at 10 792.983 billion FCFA against 10 799.592 billion FCFA on Monday, April 7, 2025 (-6.609 billion). The capitalization of the bond market also contributed to the tune of 3.382 billion, with an output of 10 487.023 billion FCFA against 10 490.405 billion FCFA. The total value of transactions increased to 723.590 million FCFA against 501.063 million FCFA the day before.
A contrasting situation is noted on the index side. The composite index thus fell slightly by 0.06% to 287.76 points against 287.94 points previously. As for the BRVM 30 index, it was also down by 0.13% to 144.81 points against 145.00 points the day before. The Top 5 of the largest price increases is thus occupied respectively by Total Côte d'Ivoire (plus 4.16% at 3,380 FCFA), BOA Burkina Faso (plus 2.14% at 4,295 FCFA), Solibra Côte d'Ivoire (plus 2.00% at 2,550 FCFA), and SMB Ivory Coast (plus 1.13% & agrave; 8,500 FCFA).
