The Managem group has just completed the project to develop the strategic infrastructures of the gold production project on its Boto asset.

The Al Mada Group subsidiary claims to be building the future of a “responsible” mining industry, integrating the “highest” standards of safety, performance and positive impact for local communities with Boto. This strategic deposit contains mineral reserves of 31.5 million tons with a gold content of 1.6 grams per ton, which is equivalent to 1,605,000 ounces. The mining industry specialist, Managem, is preparing to start the gold production process on its Boto asset in Senegal next summer. The project is supported by Boto SA, a company 90% owned by Managem and 10% by the State of Senegal. This structure therefore operates the Daorana Boto perimeter following a mining agreement signed with Senegal in 2004. The said project contains mineral reserves of 31.5 million tons of ore with a gold grade of 1.6 grams per ton, which is equivalent to 1,605,000 ounces
