These revenues, which come from customs duties, value added tax (VAT) on imports and domestic consumption tax (TIC) on energy products, take into account refunds, allowances and tax refunds of 15 million dirhams (MDH) at the end of March 2025, specifies the TGR in its recent monthly bulletin of Statistics of public finances (BMSFP
).For their part, gross customs revenue was MAD 21.95 billion at the end of March 2025 against MAD 20.71 billion a year earlier, up by 6% compared to their level at the end of March 2024, continues the same source.
Net customs revenue at the end of March 2025 reached MAD 3.79 billion against MAD 3.80 billion a year earlier, a decrease of 0.2%.
As for net revenue from import VAT, they stood at 13.68 billion dinars at the end of March 2025 compared to 12.78 billion dinars at the end of March 2024, registering an increase of 7%, while VAT on energy products fell by 3.7% and VAT on other products increased by 9.3%.
