At the end of the trading session on Thursday, April 17, 2025, a sharp increase of 103.242 billion FCFA was recorded in the market capitalization of the stock market of the shares of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM).

This capitalization was in fact 10,823.128 billion FCFA compared to 10,719.886 billion FCFA on April 16, 2025. The strong rise was underpinned by the improvement in indexes, which are back on the rise after three days of uninterrupted declines

The BRVM Composite Index gained 0.97% to 288.57 points against 285.81 points the day before. As for the BRVM 30 index, it also increased by 0.89% to 145.26 points against 143.98 points previously. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index rose by 0.55% to 122.42 points against 121.75 points

the day before.

In addition, the market capitalization of the bond market fell by 19.592 billion, from 10 454.503 billion FCFA the day before to 10 434.911 billion FCFA the day before to 10 434.911 billion FCFA on Thursday, April 17, 2025. As for the total value of transactions, it stood at 575.095 million FCFA against 738.932 million FCFA

The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by Unilever Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.47% at 8,275 FCFA), SICOR Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.41% at 3,550 FCFA), ETI Togo (plus 7.14% at 15 FCFA), CFAO Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.02% at 610 FCFA)) and SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (plus 6.50% at 565 FCFA).

As for the Flop 5 of the largest price falls, it is occupied respectively by the shares BOA Burkina Faso (minus 6.73% at 4,020 FCFA), SAPH Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.37% at 4,445 FCFA), Total Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.54% at 3,650 FCFA), Sicable Côte d'Ivoire (minus 2.54% at 3,650 FCFA), Sicable Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.82% at 1,350 FCFA) and Palm Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.42% at 5,900 FCFA))
