At the end of its simultaneous issuance of an auction of 182-day, 364-day treasury bills (BAT) and assimilable bonds (OATs) of 3 and 5 years organized on Wednesday April 16, 2025 in partnership with UMOA-Titres, the Mali a réussi à lever sur le marché financier de l' UEMOA

Mali plans to meet the financing needs of its budget. The issuer had put an amount of 60 billion CFA francs up for auction. Investors made him total bids of 72.347 billion FCFA, i.e. a coverage rate of the amount put up for auction of 120.58%.

Investors whose bids were successful will end up with a weighted average return of 8.99% for 182-day bonds, 9.68% for 364-day bonds, 8.35% for 3-year bonds and 8.48% for 5-year bonds.

The Mali Public Treasury intends to repay the vouchers on the first working day following the due date set at October 15, 2025 for those of 182 days and on April 15, 2026 for those of 364 days. Interest will be paid in advance and deducted from the face value of these vouchers

The repayment of the principal of the bonds will also take place on the first business day following the maturity date set at April 17, 2028 for 3-year bonds and April 17, 2030 for 3-year bonds and April 17, 2030 for 5-year bonds.
