It's a real black day this Friday, April 18, 2025 at the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM), whose three flagship indices plunged by more than 2%.

The BRVM Composite index in fact fell 2.44% to 281.52 points against 288.57 points the day before. As for the BRVM 30 index, it recorded the largest drop with 2.73% to 141.29 points against 145.26 points previously. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index fell by 2.37% to 119.52 points against 122.42 points

the day before.

These decreases are closely linked to the price of leading stocks such as Orange Côte d'Ivoire (-6.27%), Onatel Burkina Faso (-3.70%), Onatel Burkina Faso (-3.70%) and Sonatel Senegal (-3.60%). These are some of the most liquid stocks on the stock market. The bond market is down by 981 million, to 10 433.930 billion FCFA against 10 434.911 billion FCFA the day before.

As for the total value of transactions, it is also down, from 575.095 million FCFA the day before to 426.963 million FCFA this Friday, April 18, 2025.

For the second day in a row, Unilever Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.49% at 8,895 FCFA) tops the Top 5 of the largest price increases, followed respectively by SMB Côte d'Ivoire shares (plus 1.39% at 8,400 FCFA), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (plus 1.27% at 400 FCFA), Bernabé Ivory Coast (plus 1.27% at 400 FCFA), Bernabé Ivory Coast (plus 1.01% to 1,000 FCFA) and SODECI Côte d& & quot; Ivory (plus 0.81% at 6,250
