The Court for the Suppression of Economic Offences and Terrorism (Criet) continued on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, the trial of the former departmental director of the Atlantic Living Environment and of a female company manager continued. They are all accused of embezzlement in the award of public contracts, a case involving suspicions of fraud. The Public Prosecutor's Office proposed to the Court to sentence the former departmental director of the Atlantic Living Environment to two years in prison and to a fine of ten (10) million CFA francs. Against the company manager, the magistrate requested a suspended sentence of two years in prison and a fine of ten (10) million CFA francs.
