Cameroon hopes to mobilize an envelope of 15 billion FCFA. This new operation came a week after Cameroon hit full speed on two BTA issues aimed at raising 25 billion CFA francs. According to the results published by the central bank, the two operations of April 21, 2025, however, resulted in interest rates of 6.34% and 6.83%. These rates are double the average remuneration of 3% paid on this same category of securities by Cameroon until the beginning of 2022.
