The activities of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) market experienced disparate developments at the end of the trading session on Friday, May 16, 2025.

Still above one billion FCFA billion, the total value of transactions fell to 1.286 billion FCFA against 1.340 billion FCFA on Thursday, May 15, 2025.

For its part, the market capitalization of the equity market increased by 34.91 billion FCFA, reaching 11,618.385 billion FCFA against 11,583.475 billion FCFA the day before. As for the bond market, it recorded a drop of 11.227 billion, from 10 567.573 billion FCFA the day before to 10 556.346 billion FCFA

The main stock market indices are in a mixed situation. The BRVM Composite index thus recorded an increase of 0.30% to 301.29 points against 300.38 points the day before. As for the BRVM 30 index, it rose by 0.38% to 151.80 points against 151.22 points previously. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index fell 0.11% to 124.38 points against 124.52 points

For the fourth day in a row, the SITAB (Société Ivoirienne de Tabacs) Côte d'Ivoire led the Top 5 of the largest price increases (plus 7.47% to 15,750 FCFA), followed respectively by Coris Bank International Burkina Faso (plus 7.26% to 10,570 FCFA), SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.47% to 15,750 FCFA), SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.98% to 620 FCFA), Oragroup Togo (plus 5.63% at 1,690 FCFA) and Africa Global Logistics Côte d'Ivoire (plus 5.30% at 1,490 FCFA

The Flop 5 of the largest price drops is occupied respectively by Bernabé Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.36% to 1,070 FCFA), Sicable Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.20% to 1,225 FCFA), Sicable Côte d'Ivoire (minus 7.20% to 1225 FCFA), Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (minus 6.77% to 620 FCFA), Filtisac Côte d'Ivoire (minus 3.20% to FCFA 620) 73% at 3,995 FCFA) and Total Senegal (minus 3.41% at 2,410 FCFA).
