At the end of its issuance of a simultaneous auction of 364-day treasury bills and 3, 5 and 7-year equivalent treasury bonds (OATs) on Tuesday 20 May 2025, Côte d'Ivoire raised the sum of 76.999 billion CFA francs on the UEMOA financial market.

The Ivorian state plans to meet the financing needs of its budget. The issuer has put an amount of 70 billion CFA francs up for auction. Investor submissions amounted to 129.837 billion FCFA, i.e. a coverage rate of the amount put up for auction of 185.48%. The amount of tenders accepted is 76.999 billion FCFA and that rejected at 52.838 billion FCFA, i.e. an absorption rate of 59.30%.
Investors whose bids were selected will end up with a weighted average return of 7.06% for bonds, 7.60% for 3-year bonds, 7.14% for 5-year bonds and 7.50% for 7-year bonds.
The Ivorian Public Treasury will repay the bills on the first working day following the due date set on May 19, 2026. Interest will be paid in advance and deducted from the nominal value of these vouchers
