The State of Togo obtained 22 billion FCFA on Friday, May 23, 2025 at the level of the UEMOA financial market the sum of 22 billion FCFA. It was at the end of its issuance of a simultaneous auction of assimilable treasury bills of 182-day duration and comparable 3-year treasury bonds

The amount that was put up for auction was 20 billion FCFA. The issuer received global bids of 79.911 billion FCFA. This gives a coverage rate of 399.56% for the amount put up for auction.

The amount of tenders accepted is 22 billion FCFA and that rejected 57.911 billion FCFA. This corresponds to an absorption rate of 27.53%

Investors who saw their bids selected will end up with a weighted average return of 6.29% for bonds and 8.04% for bonds.

Vouchers will be refunded on the first business day following the due date of November 23, 2025. Interest will be paid in advance and deducted from its nominal value

Regarding the repayment of the principal of the bonds, it will take place on the first business day following the due date set on March 24, 2028. As for the payment of the interest on these bonds, the issuer intends to do so annually based on the fixed interest rate of 6.25% from the end of the first year
