The global market capitalization (combined equity and bond markets) of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) recorded an increase of 83.356 billion FCFA, at the end of the trading session on Tuesday, May 27, 2025.

The global market capitalization was 22,259.243 billion FCFA compared to 22,175,887 billion FCFA the day before. At the origin of this increase was that of the equity market and to a lesser extent that of the bond market. Thus, the market capitalization of the equity market increased by 80.921 billion, from 11,635.611 billion FCFA the day before to 11,716.532 billion FCFA on Tuesday, May 27, 2025. As for the bond market, it recorded an increase of 2.435 billion, to 10 542.711 billion FCFA against 10 540.276 billion FCFA on Monday

, May 26, 2025.

The total value of transactions was 1.006 billion FCFA compared to 1.173 billion FCFA the day before.

The BRVM Composite Index rose by 0.69% to 303.83 points against 301.74 points the day before. For its part, the BRVM 30 index increased by 0.61% to 152.33 points against 151.41 points previously. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index fell by 0.88% to 125.71 points against 126.83 points the day before.
