On 26 May 2025, the Islamic Bank of Senegal (Bis) signed a partnership agreement with Seter (Société d'exploitation du Ter de Dakar) for the establishment of banking points and services in Dakar Ter stations.

According to a press release, this agreement will start with the upcoming opening of a Bis bank point at Dakar station and the installation of an ATM at Rufisque station. “Designed as meeting points between ethical finance and the daily lives of Senegalese people, these spaces symbolize Bis's commitment to reaching out to its customers, where they are. This strategic positioning aims to respond concretely to the challenges of financial inclusion, by offering easy access to banking services, in accordance with the principles of Islamic finance,” the document states. The signing ceremony took place in the presence of the Directors General of Bis (Ms. Aminata Faye Seck), Seter (Charles Civreis) and Senter (Société Nationale de Gestion du Patrimoine du Ter, Cheikh Ibrahima Ndiaye), thus sealing a strong institutional alliance around a common project: reconciling public infrastructure, social innovation and banking utility
