In order to strengthen transparency, rigor and performance in the management of public procurement, the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (Arcop) and the National Order of Chartered Accountants and Chartered Accountants (Onecca) officially launched on May 27 a cross-training program aimed at strengthening the transparency.

The training program, the result of a structuring partnership between Arcop and Onecca, is planned over several months. It is structured around three components, in particular the qualifying training of accountants on the fundamentals of public procurement, the strengthening of the capacities of public actors in financial analysis and risk management, and the establishment of a space for interprofessional exchange. According to Traoré Mame Aissatou Dieng, Director of Human Resources, General Administration and Equipment (Drh-Age), “by investing in skills, we are investing in transparency”. The program will end with the issuance of certificates and certificates that can be validated nationally and internationally, thus establishing a new standard of expertise in public procurement
