As part of the launch of the “Côte d'Ivoire Climate Investment Program-BOAD 2026-2030 (PIC)”, BOAD signed an agreement in collaboration with Côte d'Ivoire.

The PIC program aims to mobilize 300 billion CFA francs for initiatives in sustainable agriculture, clean energy and forest management. Among these, the portfolio of 300 green projects developed by the Ministry. According to the President of BOAD, Mr. Serge EKUE, “the 300 green projects presented at COP29 demonstrate exemplary leadership. Through this agreement, we are setting up an effective framework to channel funding and achieve these ambitions.”

During the ceremony, Minister Assahoré Konan Jacques reaffirmed the commitment of the Ivorian Government to make ecological transition a strategic lever for development. “We must act with determination and audacity, because our climate ambition is to make the ecological transition an opportunity for development, the creation of green jobs, the enhancement of our natural capital, and the strengthening of the resilience of our communities,” he said.
