In particular, its net income increased from 15.24 billion CFA francs in 2019 to 9.2 billion in 2020, then to 5.7 billion in 2021 and 5.1 billion in 2022. .In the official press release that sanctioned the bank's general meeting on June 2, 2025, it is mentioned that “during in recent years, the requests for financing sent by economic operators to Bdeac has been increasingly high, requiring more resources. That is why it was urgent to strengthen the financial capacities of the bank to enable it to play its full role. To this end, the general meeting invited the shareholders to implement all the commitments that were adopted at the general meeting on January 3, 2025.”
