A l' occasion de la 32 ᵉ Assembl é e annual with Afreximbank tenue à Abuja, le Gabon a signé deux accords de financement d' un montant total de plus 1700 milliards FCFA the bank Pan-African. The objective is to support the development of mining, rail and energy infrastructures.

The premier accord financing door infrastructures related to the transformation of manganese, energy and rail transport. It is valued at 3 billion USD (around 1600 billion FCFA). The second agreement, worth 200 million euros (about 112 billion FCFA), concerns the construction of three power plants in Libreville, Port-Gentil and Lambaréné, for an additional capacity of 300 megawatts.

In reality, with these structuring agreements, Gabon is consolidating the foundations of a more resilient, competitive and sovereign economy, in line with the pan-African vision of economic transformation promoted by Afreximbank.
