On Thursday, July 24, 2025, in Dakar, the Public Infrastructure Management Company in the Urban Centers of Diamniadio and Pink Lake (SOGIP) and the Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) signed an agreement to develop urban centers.

The Director General of SOGIP, Dame Mbodj indicated that “this ambitious partnership has only one goal, that of contributing to the harmonious development of our cities by focusing on modern infrastructure, adequate financing and strengthened cooperation” with the CDC. The signed agreement gives the CDC the possibility of accessing the capital of SOGIP projects

For the CEO, the signing of the agreement is part of an “approach [...] to develop urban centers in our country”.

SOGIP, manager of several infrastructures in the Diamniadio urban center, is ready to make them available to the CDC, for the organization of important events, on the basis of the partnership established.
