Orange Côte d'Ivoire has launched “OM Pay”, an application dedicated to payments and money transfers in order to strengthen its commitment to financial inclusion. Designed to be simple, fast and secure, it allows transactions to be carried out in one click, with a real-time balance consultation without a PIN code.

OM Pay is positioned as a concrete response to these obstacles. The application, available on Android and iOS, has an intuitive interface and a simplified user journey, allowing payments and transfers to be made in a single click. Real-time balance consultation without entering a PIN code as well as detailed transaction history aim to streamline the experience while strengthening user confidence

Orange Côte d'Ivoire insists on the complementarity of OM Pay with Max it, its “super application” oriented to the extended management of digital services such as the payment of invoices or the purchase of packages. This new application is thus part of a global strategy to strengthen the Orange Money ecosystem, by offering a specialized solution for payments and transfers.

While the application is currently limited to the Ivorian market for merchant payments, it already allows international money transfers, showing a medium-term regional ambition.
