The annual meeting of the African Caucus, which brings together African governors at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group (WB), opened on Wednesday in Bangui, the Central African capital.

La réunion d' envergure continentale rassemble plus de 400 représentants des institutions de Bretton Woods, des gouverneurs africains du FMI et du groupe de la World Bank , as well as experts from the public and private sectors. This edition focuses on the theme: “Resilient infrastructures, human capital and green wealth: Essential levers for strong, inclusive and sustainable growth in Africa”. Discussions focus in particular on the structural infrastructure financing deficit, estimated at between 68 billion and 108 billion dollars per year, as well as on the challenges related to governance, climate change, and the mobilization of internal resources.
