Nigeria-based fund manager Sahel Capital, through its Social Enterprise Fund for Agriculture in Africa (SEFAA), granted a $1.5 million loan to Nulla Group, a Cameroonian women-led company specializing in maize aggregation and processing, through its Social Enterprise Fund for Agriculture in Africa (SEFAA), a $1.5 million loan to Nulla Group, a Cameroonian company run by women and specialized in maize aggregation and processing. “We are proud to support Nulla Group, a women-led company that is building resilient supply chains and transforming the maize value chain in Cameroon,” said Aïcha Haidara, Vice President of Sahel Capital. “The company's integrated procurement model and processing capabilities not only improve quality and traceability, but also ensure that farmers, especially women, have fairer prices and regular market access.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Sahel Capital, which gives us the means to grow our businesses and improve service delivery to our farmers and customers,” said Liza Kina Idum, founder and CEO of Nulla Group. “This investment will allow us to further supply our network of 1,700 small-scale farmers and to remain a reliable partner in Cameroon's evolving maize ecosystem.

NULLA is a maize aggregator and processor based in Cameroon. Basically, Nulla produces grain maize on a farm located in the western region of Cameroon, while developing an agri-food ecosystem
