The Dirham appreciated by 0.8% against the American dollar and depreciated by 0.1% against the euro during the period from 7 to 13 August 2025, during the period from 7 to 13 August 2025, according to Bank Al-Maghrib (BAM).

On the interbank market, the volume of currency exchanges for Dirhams reached 23.1 billion Dirhams (MMDH) in July 2025, down 48.2% compared to the same period a year earlier.

As for banks' transactions with their customers, their volume in July was 41.4 billion dinars for cash purchases and 23.3 billion dinars for term purchases, compared to 37.7 billion dinars and 17.9 billion dinars for term purchases, respectively, compared to 37.7 billion dinars and 17.9 billion dinars a year earlier.

As for sales, they covered amounts of 41.2 billion DH for cash sales, after 36.9 billion DH, and 2.2 billion DH for futures sales, compared to 1.9 billion DH a year earlier.
