At the end of the trading session on Tuesday, August 19, 2025, the global market capitalization (equity and bond market combined) of the Bourse Régionale des Valeurs Mobilières (BRVM) recorded an increase of 73.087 billion CFA francs.

The global market capitalization stood at 22 719.476 billion FCFA compared to 22 646.389 billion FCFA the day before. At the origin of this increase, there is the capitalization of the equity market, which increased by 73.099 billion, to 12,249.965 billion FCFA against 12,176.866 billion FCFA on August 18, 2025. As for the bond market, it fell by 12 million, from 10 469.523 billion FCFA the day before to 10 469.511 billion FCFA on August 19, 2025.

The total value of transactions rose slightly to 868.057 million FCFA against 834.104 million FCFA the day before.

The indices are all in green. The BRVM Composite index thus increased by 0.60% to 317.72 points against 315.82 points previously. For its part, the BRVM 30 index recorded an increase of 0.51% to 154.15 points against 153.37 points the day before. As for the BRVM Prestige index, it increased by 0.42% to 131.38 points against 130.83 points the day before.
