Bassirou Samba Niasse, now former Director General of Taxes and Domains (DGID), who led the institution masterfully since July 2019, handed over a service to the Chief Inspector of Taxes and Exceptional Estate, Abdoulaye Diagne. The latter officially took office after the ceremony.

The destinies of the Tax and Land Administration, the main provider of Senegal's budget revenues, are now in the hands of the new director Diagne. He is recognized as very serious and competent, just like his predecessor. The new boss of DGID organized a small ceremony in honor of his predecessor Bassirou Samba NIASSE, to whom the staff rolled out a red carpet as a way of recognition for his good and loyal services to the Nation.

“I am an activist in consolidating and overcoming achievements because the projects of emergence have yet to be completed. Our motto: Uniting to Serve Better,” reassured Abdoulaye Diagne.
